I was born
not of random chance
not of fate
nor probability
I was born
for a reason

I have not been lucky
life has not offered me
warranties nor guaranties,
those who know me will say
She has not been lucky

Who am I?
went to ‘school’ by luck
lives by fate
and survive by hope
of an opportunity
that’s who I am.

I am not a beggar
as some may think
I may have been born ‘naked’
but I assure you,
am not ’empty’
